Supporting Youth Leadership and Service in Saugerties

The Kiwanis Club of Saugerties is proud to support youth leadership and community service programs throughout the Saugerties school system through both the Builders Club and Key Club programs.

These organizations help students develop leadership skills, confidence, teamwork, compassion, and a lifelong commitment to serving others. Through volunteer projects, fundraising efforts, and community activities, students gain real-world experience making a positive difference in Saugerties.

Our club provides financial support, mentorship, volunteer coordination, and encouragement to help these student-led organizations thrive. Many students involved in these programs go on to become active community leaders, volunteers, and professionals dedicated to helping others.

The progression of programs allows students to continue developing their leadership journey as they grow:

• Builders Club serves middle school and junior high students.
• Key Club serves high school students and is part of an international student leadership organization sponsored by Kiwanis.

Students from these clubs regularly participate in community activities throughout the year, including local events, food programs, volunteer projects, and service opportunities that directly benefit the Saugerties community.

We are honored to support these students and the faculty advisors who help guide them toward leadership, service, and personal growth.
